Soy el depositario de este coche, que su dueño holandés ha tenido que poner en mis manos para que se lo venda..
Es un SAAB 96 L V4 del año 76, está practicamente original y en un estado general bastante aceptable para tratarse de un coche holandés...
Aunque hay que hacerle algunas cosillas de chapa y mecánica para dejarlo perfecto, sería posible dejarlo tal cual y usarlo un tiempo antes de afrontar una restauración a fondo...
El motor es un V4 de origen Ford (igual al que montaban los Taunus 12M) y que suena francamente bien, y tiene soluciones técnicas que parecen bastante adelantadas a su época, como embrague de accionamiento hidráulico, servofreno sobredimensionado, barras de protección lateral en el interior de las puertas, columna de dirección deformable.. la verdad, se nota que el origen del fabricante fueron los aviones, porque todo destila calidad y parece diseñado para que dure...
Arranca al cuarto de vuelta y mantiene el ralentí con ese sonido característico de los motores en V..., es muy agradable de conducir, con el cambio situado en el volante...
Cuando lo he sacado a dar una vuelta por los alrededores de mi casa, las miradas de la gente son indescriptibles, parece que hubieran visto un platillo volante, y por ejemplo, gente como el mecánico del pueblo no habían visto uno en su vida...
Creo que puede ser una muy buena opción para rallies de regularidad, pues además he podido descubrir que este modelo tuvo palmarés deportivo importante, con el rallye de Montecarlo en su haber, además, existen preparadores que con piezas refabricadas (colectores, escapes, carburadores Weber, etc..) hacen que se pueda convertir en algo serio...
Dispongo de toda la documentación original así como de contrato de compra venta, es decir, lo necesario para matricularlo como histórico..
Se encuentra en Madrid, y los interesados darse prisa, que como consiga vender alguna otra cosa igual hasta me lo quedo yo....
